Dr. Jonathan L. Nelson, D.D.S., is a native of Iowa.

After graduating from Storm Lake High School, he joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers Swimming and Diving team.  His dedication to athletic excellence was mirrored in the class room.  Dr. Nelson graduated with a B.S. in 1999 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery education in 2003 from the University of  Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry.   He joined a group practice in Madison, WI, where he worked until 2007.  In the fall of 2007, Dr Nelson and his wife moved to Windsor to pursue their dream of practicing and living in Colorado.

Dr. Nelson has been an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado and Wisconsin Dental Associations, and the Academy of General Dentistry.  He is also a local member of the Seattle Study Club.  Dr. Nelson continues to develop his skills by actively participating in continuing education.  He strives to deliver excellence to his patients as if they are family or friends.

Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Karen, and their dog, Sadie.  He and his wife share a passion for training and racing triathlons and other outdoor sports. He finds perfection and gratification in life by maintaining his fitness, spirit, and his patient’s oral health.
